IBM WEARABLE COMPUTER John Allen - director We did this piece for IBM in 1997 or so. It was the first time anyone had seen a computer like this, wearable, almost invisible, elegant and futuristic. In fact, we still haven't seen anything like this. It was a prototype that had to be signed in and out every time it was transported. It is yet to be put into production 15 years later. It was an honor to work with Richard Sapper, the designer of IBM thinkpad and countless other historic designs. Paul Blinerman, editor; Richard Henkels, Director of Photography |
